
Jill Weeks of Paragould has been named vice president of patient services at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She will have oversight of St. Bernards peri-operative services, pharmacy, physical therapy, laboratory, reference laboratory, GI laboratory, respiratory care, cardiac rehabilitation, Center for Weight Loss, Diabetes Management Center, Wound Healing Center, Fitness Center and hospitalist program.
Weeks started her career at St. Bernards in 1986 after earning a degree in medical technology at Arkansas State University and has worked in healthcare for 24 years. She worked at Doctors’ Pathology and Clopton Clinic for a period of time before returning to St. Bernard in 2001 as director of laboratory services. She later was promoted to assistant vice president of patient services.
Weeks holds membership in the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She grew up in Harrisburg.
She and her husband, Gene, live in Paragould, where they are members of First United Methodist Church. A graduate of the 2005 class of Leadership Jonesboro, Weeks also serves on the board of the St. Bernards Development Foundation’s Women’s Advisory Council and the Clopton Clinic Foundation. In addition, she is a member of St. Bernards Advocates and is a United Way volunteer.
She and her husband have a 19-yaer-old daughter, Whitney, who is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Her parents are Clyde and Twila Ford of Harrisburg.
