Employee Benefits
You do your best work when you feel supported and valued. That’s why St. Bernards Healthcare offers a competitive benefits package for full-time employees and their families—including comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, life insurance and much more.
Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
St. Bernards Project 120 is a free service provided to our full-time employees with student loans to get on track for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), a federal student loan program that forgives student loans after 120 months (or 10 years) of qualifying public service and payments! St. Bernards has partnered with Aptus Financial, non-conflicted national student loan experts, who will analyze your loan situation, send you an action plan, and walk you step-by-step with PSFL to help you kick student loans to the curb! It’s also tax-free!
Medical Coverage
Our medical plan uses the network of St. Bernards Healthcare Associated Regional Providers (SHARP). Our plan includes:
- $1,000 in-network individual deductible/$2,000 in-network family deductible
- $35 copay for in-network primary care office visits
- In-network coverage of 80% after the deductible is met
For information about out-of-network coverage, call SHARP at 870.972.0032.
MASA Emergency Transport Coverage
Take advantage of affordable emergency ground (ambulance) and air (helicopter) transportation assistance. It’s available within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, regardless of whether the provider is in or out of your group healthcare benefits network.
Pharmacy Benefits
Our pharmacy plan covers drugs listed on the Standard with Step Therapy Formulary. (As an employee, you’ll have access to a copy of this list.) Copays depend on the medication.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
FSAs are special accounts you put money into for certain out-of-pocket medical expenses. You don’t pay taxes on this money.
Healthcare FSA
The healthcare FSA helps you pay for IRS-approved medical, dental and vision expenses not covered by your insurance. You can contribute up to $3,050 to this FSA each year.
Dependent Care FSA
The dependent care FSA lets you set aside pre-tax dollars to use toward qualified dependent care. You can contribute up to $5,000 (or $2,500 if married and filing separately) to the FSA each year.
