Shared Governance

Nursing by the Numbers
In 2022, we:
- Cared for more than 21,000 patients
- Delivered 1,500 babies
- Provided financial assistance for almost 30 licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and registered nurses (RNs) through sponsorship programs
- Supported the future of nursing by offering clinical opportunities for eight universities and community colleges, including 18 nursing programs averaging 230 students a week in the spring and fall semesters
- Offered participation in a Nursing Residency Program to 50 eligible RN graduates to provide support and assistance for those transitioning from an academic setting to professional nursing practice
- Acknowledged 400 DAISY nominations to recognize nurses and awarded monthly DAISY honorees on their units throughout 2022
- Celebrated 447 work anniversaries for nurses who have served 10 years or more
