Cancer Exercise Rehabilitation
It’s common to feel run-down during and after cancer treatment, but you don’t have to live with severe fatigue. Rehabilitation can help you:
- Build muscle mass and endurance
- Improve balance and flexibility
- Increase heart and lung health
- Do daily tasks more easily
- Reduce side effects of cancer treatment
- Relieve pain
- Maintain a healthy weight
- Sleep better
- Strengthen your immune system
- Enhance your mood and self-esteem
In the long term, we want to help you develop and maintain your own fitness program for better health.
Medical Exercise Rehabilitation
Medical rehab provides a safe, effective bridge from a structured rehabilitation environment to daily life. We’ll start with:
- Consultation about your needs and goals
- Individualized fitness assessment
- Health risk appraisal
Then, we’ll develop an individualized exercise prescription based on:
- Your doctor’s recommendations and restrictions
- What you’d like to achieve
Conditions We Treat
Individual exercise plans are available for people with:
- Blood disorders
- Bone, joint and muscle injuries
- Cancer
- Diabetes and metabolic disorders
- Heart disease

- Lung disease
- Neurological conditions
- Obesity
Getting Started
You can call us to ask about medical rehabilitation, and we’ll work together to get your physician’s consent. Or, you may receive a referral to the program from a doctor, physical therapist, nurse, dietitian or another health professional.
You don’t need to be a wellness center member to take part in rehabilitation. But by joining, you can continue to enjoy our equipment and amenities after finishing the program.
