What to Expect
You’ll exercise with a few other patients two or three times a week for 36 sessions. We’ll make sure your heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation stay within a safe zone as you work out on a treadmill, stationary bike or step equipment.
Heart Health Education
Ask us about optional, but recommended heart health classes. Called Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab, these additional 36 sessions include:
- One-on-one nutrition counseling with a dietitian
- Cooking classes
- Live workshops
- Videos on living a heart-healthy life
You’ll also receive a personal toolkit with helpful resources to take home.
