Overnight Visitors
In most situations, one family member may spend the night in a patient’s room, which has a recliner. Ask a nurse or another hospital staffer for a cot, blankets and pillows.
You can also stay at one of the Jonesboro hotels that offer discounts for guests of St. Bernards patients.
Pastoral Care
Lean on our spiritual care team whenever you need prayers, the Catholic Sacraments, comfort or encouragement. You may see chaplains when they make rounds throughout the week, or you can call 870.207.4559 to request care.
Any time of day or night, you’re welcome to visit our hospital chapel, located on the ground level between the surgical tower and emergency department. (View a hospital map.) A priest celebrates Mass at noon each Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Tuesdays, visitors pray the rosary at noon.
Behind the chapel, you’ll find our prayer garden, a quiet place for meditation and solitude. It’s open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
Wi-Fi
On your mobile device, look for the Wi-Fi signal ‘StBernards-Guest’ to access the internet for free—no password needed.
Cable TV
Use the pillow speaker/call light to control the TV in your room. Check the program schedule in your room or view the TV guide in our patient guidebook [PDF].
Mail
We can send out your mail if it has a postage stamp. We deliver incoming mail daily.
ICU Amenities
Take care of yourself while we care for your loved one in the intensive care unit. Feel free to use the refrigerator, microwave, coffee and fresh water in the nourishment room. Let a nurse guide you to the guest shower and restrooms.
Shower for the Public
Ask a hospital staffer to direct you to our shower for the public on the second floor, 2 North and in the new ICU waiting area in the tower.
Room Cleaning
Our environmental services team cleans and sanitizes all high-touch surfaces each day and restocks your room and bathroom. If you have more housekeeping needs, tell your nurse or call 870.207.4512.
