About St. Bernards Urology
Our urology clinic has been in existence since the early 1960s providing general urologic care to Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. We are located in Jonesboro, Arkansas's Medical Plaza on the Mathews Medical Mile. Our Arkansas urologists are proud members of the St. Bernards Medical Group (SBMG) and SHARP. Our present compliment of physicians have over 50 years of combined urologic experience and have the expertise to treat a broad range of urologic problems.

Dr. Emma Jacobs, Dr. Rudolph Bowens, and St. Bernards Urology in Jonesboro, AR, have the honor of being named an InterStim™ Center of Excellence by Medtronic, the world’s largest medical device manufacturer. The distinction is awarded to a select group of physicians who have demonstrated exemplary expertise in the use of the InterStim™ system to treat overactive bladder (also known as OAB), as well as non-obstructive urinary retention and chronic fecal incontinence.
The designation as a Center of Excellence recognizes physicians and programs that have distinguished themselves as leaders in the InterStim therapy. It has been awarded to less than one percent of all physicians currently implanting the InterStim therapy in the United States. Selection criteria are rigid and based on clinical excellence in education, patient care, case volume and outcomes.
