About St. Bernards Villa
St. Bernards Villa is licensed as a Level 2 Assisted Living Facility (ALF2), which adds a nursing component to our services. We have nursing care plans produced by a nurse (RN), and carried out by licensed staff (Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assitants, Patient Care Tech’s). St. Bernards Villa is allowed to perform limited nursing services, such as wound care, and medication administration. They are allowed to do injections when necessary, finger sticks, and administer the drugs, rather than just reminders.
Residents in an ALF2 have the opportunity to stay longer, because they have access to more advanced services before they need full-time skilled nursing care.”

Understanding that memory loss is unique and individualized, St. Bernards has created housing and programs specifically designed to meet the needs of those living with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia.
The Rainwater Memory Care at St. Bernards Villa offers apartments, and outdoor spaces are specifically designed to provide comfort, security, and peace of mind to residents with memory loss conditions. Residents are guided through structured, stimulating activities to preserve independence and dignity. Our staff helps residents remain focused in an effort to reduce anxiety and slow memory loss.
We respect each resident’s life story, beliefs, culture, values, health, hobbies, and retained abilities—and strive to connect with the person beyond the disease.
Services and amenities include:

- Light housekeeping weekly (dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, linen changes)

Our staff assists residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
