Patient Experience

At St. Bernards Healthcare, you’re heard and seen as a unique individual. From the moment you come through our hospital doors, we work to give you the best possible experience. No matter where you are in your health journey, you can count on us for kindness and compassion.

Keeping You Safe & Well

Nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs) and other health professionals will check on you often throughout your hospital stay. We’ll try to anticipate your needs, but please reach out anytime you need something. Let us help you ease your pain, order food, use the restroom, adjust your bed or otherwise make you more comfortable.

Choose a Care Partner

Invite a loved one to visit or stay with you in the hospital for support. This person can:

  • Help you remember medical information
  • Provide personal care
  • Update your family and friends on your progress
  • Learn how to help care for you after you go home

At St. Bernards Medical Center, you may designate this person as a Care Partner. Nurses will provide training on routine care so your loved one can offer another layer of support for you.
