St. Bernards Recuperative Care Program

St. Bernards Recuperative Care Program is a grant funded, 4-bed unit, that is located within the Crisis Stabilization Unit of Jonesboro. The unit acts as a bridge program between the hospital, behavioral health, the emergency department and homeless shelters that do not offer medical/mental health follow up care. We also offer Supportive Services to individuals who qualify that are not in our four-bed unit. Providing housing alone does not ensure success for individuals struggling with homelessness. That is why we continue to follow and provide assistance & support to clients for one year after permanent housing is obtained.

At St. Bernards Healthcare, we believe every individual deserves equitable care. We also believe that housing and healthcare go hand in hand. That is why we developed the Recuperative Care Program. We accept referrals from any St. Bernards Healthcare entity, outside sources and from individuals in need of assistance.
