Home Health

Your home. Your family. Your health. They’re what matters most to you—and they’re important to us, too. That’s why we bring medical care to the place where you and your loved ones feel most comfortable. Whether you’re recovering after surgery or living with a chronic illness, St. Bernards Healthcare delivers Christ-like healing that puts you first.

Counties We Serve

Home Health Services

All three agencies can help you stay out of the hospital and live more independently thanks to:

  • Nursing care from licensed practical nurses and registered nurses
  • Physical therapy to improve pain, strength and range of motion
  • Occupational therapy, which teaches you how to do daily tasks after an injury or illness
  • Speech therapy for help communicating and swallowing
  • Home health aide who helps with daily activities, like bathing, getting dressed, preparing food and housekeeping (light duties)

St. Bernards Home Health also offers social services—referrals to community resources, such as transportation and financial assistance.

St. Bernards Home Health

Our team will assess your needs and work with your doctor to ensure individualized care. Between planned home visits, we can:

  • Use technology to monitor your health from our office
  • Set up a virtual (video) appointment
  • Send a nurse any time we determine there’s an urgent need

We care for people of any age—from infants to senior citizens.

Insurance Coverage

Most health insurance providers pay for home health services. We’ll help you determine your plan’s criteria for coverage. If insurance doesn’t cover care in your situation, ask St. Bernards Home Health about self-pay options or charitable assistance.
