If you’re admitted to St. Bernards Medical Center, you may take part in rehabilitation as part of your initial recovery after a serious injury, illness or surgery. During your stay, you have access to:

Your doctor will order the specific services you need during this stage of your care, called acute rehabilitation. Once your condition is stable, and it’s safe for you to leave the hospital, we’ll help you transition to the next level of care.

Inpatient Rehabilitation

If you need intensive therapy, your doctor may refer you to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Jonesboro. You’ll continue recovering with:

  • Three hours of therapy, five days per week
  • Nursing services available 24/7
  • Frequent doctor visits
