  • Sprains and strains – Overstretched soft tissue, such as a sports hernia or pulled hamstring
  • Tendon injury – Includes tendonitis (treatable with a simple Tenex procedure) or tear in the tissue that connects muscle to bone
    • Includes Achilles tendonitis, golfer's elbow, jumper's knee, rotator cuff tear, swimmer's shoulder and tennis elbow

Isokinetic Testing & Training

Isokinetic testing assesses your muscle strength, and isokinetic training improves it. During testing, technology called a dynamometer measures the force your muscles generate when you tighten them. Isokinetic training involves exercising with resistance that matches the force of your muscles. Together, these tools help you regain strength and determine when you can safely return to sports.

Force Plate Performance Testing

Ask us to analyze your balance, strength and movement during a series of exercises and jumps on our force platforms. This technology collects data and gives real-time feedback to help you monitor rehabilitation progress, assess injury risk and improve your performance.

Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training

BFR can improve your recovery after an injury or orthopedic surgery. For this type of training, a physical therapist places a cuff on your leg or arm to restrict blood flow to the heart, but not to the injured area. This approach strengthens your muscles with light loads.
